About Egmont Toys

Founded in a Belgian garage in 1994, Egmont Toys began with a simple dream: to create timeless playthings filled with wonder. Today, that childhood magic is carried forward by a small, family-run team led by Amaury Timmermans—a father of two driven by a passion to get children truly playing again. Rooted in a strict philosophy of intentional, slow craftsmanship, Egmont only builds pieces meant to be loved for a decade or more. From hand-finished nightlights to natural wooden toys sized perfectly for tiny hands, every design begins as a hand-drawn illustration. Egmont Toys remains dedicated to screen-free imagination, traditional materials, and European heritage, creating beautiful, heirloom-quality pieces that honor the poetry of a slow, magical childhood.
