Product Authenticity
Last updated: August 28, 2026
Revelry is operated by Maison de Joie LLC, a women-owned small business based in Spokane, Washington. We are an authorized retailer of the independent brands, artisans, and makers whose work we carry. We do not sell counterfeit, replica, or misrepresented goods.
This page explains how we source products, how we evaluate the makers and suppliers we work with, and the steps we take to ensure the items we sell are authentic and accurately represented.
Our Commitment
Every product on Revelry is chosen deliberately. We partner with makers and brands who share our values: high-quality materials, thoughtful production, craftsmanship, and design that is made to last—not trend-chasing or mass-produced imitation goods.
We have deep respect for the artists, designers, and small brands we work with, and we represent their products honestly in our listings, photography, and descriptions.
How We Source Products
We source inventory through two primary channels:
Authorized wholesale partnerships via Faire
Many of our products are purchased directly from verified brand accounts on Faire.com, a wholesale marketplace that connects independent retailers with makers and established small brands. Orders placed through Faire are fulfilled by the brand or maker listed on the product.
Direct relationships with artists and brands
We also work directly with makers, designers, and small brands, often discovered through Faire, industry referrals, or our own product research. These relationships are built on mutual trust, transparent communication, and authorized resale.
We do not purchase from unauthorized distributors, liquidation brokers selling unverifiable goods, or suppliers we cannot identify and document.
Supplier & Brand Vetting
Before adding a product to our catalog, we evaluate the maker or brand behind it. Our review includes:
- Brand identity & authorization: Confirming we are buying from the actual brand, maker, or an authorized wholesale channel—not a third-party reseller of unknown origin.
- Product quality & craftsmanship: Reviewing materials, construction, and production standards to ensure items meet our quality bar.
- Values alignment: Prioritizing makers who demonstrate intentional design, ethical production practices, and care in how their goods are made.
- Accurate representation: Ensuring product names, descriptions, and imagery reflect the genuine item—not generic, misleading, or copied listings.
Quality Review & Listing Standards
Once a product is selected, we take additional steps before it goes live on our store:
- We inspect incoming inventory for condition and consistency with the brand's specifications.
- We write or edit product descriptions to accurately describe materials, dimensions, origin, and care instructions.
- Product images may come from three sources: vendor-provided photography supplied directly by the brand or maker; reference photos of the actual items we sell; and in-house styling with AI-assisted editing to present products clearly and consistently. In all cases, our goal is an accurate representation of the authentic product you will receive.
- We attribute each product to its correct brand or maker in our catalog.
Documentation & Records
We maintain purchase records for the products we sell, including:
- Wholesale invoices and order confirmations from Faire and direct brand partners
- Shipping and fulfillment records tied to authorized suppliers
- Brand correspondence related to product authorization, discontinuations, and quality issues
These records allow us to verify the provenance of our inventory and respond to product questions or concerns.
Clearance & Promotional Pricing
From time to time, we offer discounts on select items—such as seasonal clearance or end-of-line inventory in our Last Chance collection. These markdowns reflect legitimate retail pricing decisions on authentic goods, not indicators of counterfeit or unauthorized merchandise. Site-wide and collection discounts do not exceed 50% off the original listed price.
Reporting a Concern
If you have a question about the authenticity of a product purchased from Revelry, or if you believe a listing is inaccurate, please contact us. We take these concerns seriously and will investigate promptly.
