Nat + Noor | Ray Ivory Tortoise Hoop Earrings
The Ray Ivory Tortoise Hoops are a modern, minimalist take on the classic tortoiseshell pattern. Featuring a sophisticated palette of cream, tan, and black, these hoops offer a lighter, "ivory" alternative to traditional dark tortoise tones.
Crafted from cellulose acetate—a high-quality, eco-friendly material derived from wood pulp—these hoops are remarkably lightweight and durable, far surpassing standard acrylic in both feel and longevity. The medium-sized silhouette is designed for everyday wear, providing a clean, architectural pop of pattern that elevates everything from a crisp white tee to a silk slip dress.
Size: Approximately 1" diameter.
Materials: Hypoallergenic stainless steel posts, eco-friendly cellulose acetate (a renewable material made from wood pulp). Suitable for sensitive ears.
Colors: Tortoise brown and black
Designer: Natalia Riboldi of Nat + Noor
Origin: Salt Lake City, Utah

About Nat + Noor
Natalia’s background is deeply rooted in the arts and environmental consciousness. After studying art and teaching silversmithing at the Sundance Mountain Resort, she spent time in Australia learning from permaculturists and environmentalists. This experience heavily influenced her choice to use cellulose acetate (a non-petroleum, wood-pulp-based material) for her designs. Based in Utah, Natalia continues to create "well-worn staples" that balance aesthetic beauty with an eco-conscious heart.
