About British Colour Standard
From a studio in London's Oxo Tower, they match enamel, wax, and woven cloth to colours written down almost a century ago. The making happens with workshops in India and Indonesia. Some of the cloth starts as waste. Used cement sacks from construction sites are washed, shredded, spun into thread, dyed again in those old colours, and woven into bags.
